Field of Dreams 2: NFL Lockout with Taylor Lautner
Well here it is. I directed/edited this fake movie trailer for Funny or Die (my first since “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story”). It was a real beast to shoot, but I had so much fun and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Lots of talent involved, including Ray Liota, Dennis Haysbert, and about 12 NFL players.
Ryan Perez and Alex Fernie wrote the original script, and the DP was my frequent collaborator and the always amazing, Christian Sprenger. We shot this one with anamorphic lenses, and they even let us rent a technocrane! Definitely a first in Funny or Die history.
I left the site back in December, but am very grateful that they asked me to come back and helm this project.
